Abstract
As our knowledge of structure and reproduction of numerous groups is still fragmentary and their taxonomic relationships are unknown it is difficult to draw up a satisfactory system of the Protozoa In addition it is left to a certain degree to the taxonomist’s individual judgment which criteria he uses in his classification Reform proposals published in recent times 241810 1376 agree only in restricting the term Sporozoa to the “Telosporidia” Gregarinida Coccidia and in classifying the Opalinina among the flagellates
