Abstract
Codesign is becoming a bottleneck in the process of designing complex electronic systems under short timetomarket and low cost constraints In this chapter the word system means a multiprocessor distributed real time system composed of programmable processors executing software and dedicated hardware processors communicating through a complex networks Such a system may be implemented as a single chip a board or a geographically distributed system
