A novel dualpolarized exponential tapered slot antenna for high power electromagnetic HPEM sources is designed and verified This antipodal version of an ultrawideband Vivaldi antenna offers compact sizes and sustains high input power of about 40 kV Gains of about 8 dBi can be achieved Both antenna planes are isolated with more than 20 dB
