Abstract
Animals exist in a wide variety of shapes and sizes Their body mass from the smallest unicellular organism to the largest multicellular animal ranges from 10−15 to 105 kg 1 Despite this difference in body mass there is however a regular pattern in physiological processs which relate to body mass This observation led the physiologists and pharmacologists to establish a relationship between body mass and physiological processs
