Abstract
This chapter reviews the prior chapters on the concept of romantic love in comparison with other forms of love It further takes a look at the connection between romantic love and sex as well as the implications and conceptualizations of romantic love throughout history and across numerous cultures Most importantly it stresses the importance of utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to studying and conceptualizing romantic love and it recognizes the limitations of the prior research in order to advance the way scholars study this complex construct
