Abstract

In this paper the leaderfollowing consensus for discretetime multiagent systems with parameter uncertainties is investigated based on the eventtriggered strategy And the parameter uncertainty is assumed to be normbounded A consensus protocol is designed based on the eventtriggered strategy to make the multiagent systems achieve consensus without continuous communication among agents Each agent only needs to observe its own state to determine its own triggering instants under the triggering function in this paper In addition a sufficient condition for the existence of the eventtriggered consensus protocol is derived and presented in terms of the linear matrix inequality Finally a numerical example is given to illustrate to efficiency of the eventtriggered consensus protocol proposed in this paperThis paper was supported in part by the National Natural Science Foundation of China under Grant Nos 61104097 61321002 61120106010 61522303 U1509215 Program for Changjiang Scholars and Innovative Research Team in University IRT1208 ChangJiang Scholars Program Beijing Outstanding PhD Program Mentor Grant 20131000704 Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University NCET130045 Beijing Higher Education Young Elite Teacher Project
