Abstract

Given the increase in use of electronic medium as educational tools there is an increasing need to critically investigate and question the use of electronic tools within educational settings More importantly there is an increasing need to critically question and discuss the psychological ethical and emotional implications of computer use within educational settings In their 311page book on computers and cultural change the authors have written a clear organized introductory text for teachers to help them to use computers effectively in the classroom Specifically their book is a second updated edition of their first text which explores how the use of computers within the classroom influence the teaching/learning process the curriculum and the broader cultural and societal context
