Abstract
Nel presente lavoro si discutono misure eseguite a temperatura ambiente sul MnSO4NH42SO4·6H2O mediante il metodo della risonanza paramagnetica Si sono determinate alcune caratteristiche della cella cristallina e le costanti magnetiche dello ione Mn++ In base a questi risultati si è calcolato la suscettività del sale confrontandola con le misure di Krishnan e altriThe properties of the paramagnetic salt MnSO4NH42SO4·6H2O diluted with the corresponding Mg salt in the ratio roughly of Mn Mg = 4 1000 have been investigated by the resonance method at room temperature Fine and hiperflne structures are satisfactory resolved 2000 gauss for particular orientations of the crystal in the magnetic field In these conditions we are able to assign to the constants appearing in the hamiltonian form of the problem the following valuesD =236 gaussE =44 gaussA = 100 gaussB = 104 gauss Having calculated the susceptibility with the usual statistical method with terms containingD andE we are able to compare our results with those obtained by Krishnan Mookherji Bose at the same temperature by means of classical measurements of susceptibility see TableIII We think that a higher degree of precision is obtainable with the resonance method consequently our values seem to be more reliable
