Abstract

In der Studie wird die Fragestellung aufgeworfen ob Bindungserwartungsmuster durch unterschiedliche kulturelle Einflüsse modifiziert werden können Des Weiteren stellt sich die Frage ob Heimat als ein Konglomerat personaler und symbolisierter Bindungsobjekte definiert werden kann Die Wahrnehmung von Ortswechsel als Belastungssituation kann ebenfalls als ein Hinweis für Bindung an Heimat geltenDie Stichprobe umfasst 815 Probanden aus 13 neuen und alten Bundesländern Im Rahmen der Untersuchung wurde aus dem Heimatfragebogen HFB mit 44 Items dem modifizierten Bindungsfragebogen BFPE nach Höger mit 31 Items und der Collectivism Individualism Scale nach Yamaguchi mit 14 Items ein FragebogenSet mit insgesamt 89 Fragen gebildet und mithilfe verschiedener statistischer Verfahren untersuchtHeimat kann durch die Faktoren „Bindungserfahrungen“ „Werte“ „Selbstkonzept“ und „Ortsbindung“ charakterisiert werden Probanden unterschiedlicher Bindungserwartungsmuster nutzen diverse „Heimatprofile“ Es ergaben sich mittlere Effekte dafür dass Bindungserwartungsmuster durch den kulturellen Hintergrund beeinflusst werdenThe following article discusses the consideration that attachment expectation styles could be influenced by cultural conditions Additionally it will be tested if the idea of the homeland can be defined as a conglomeration of personal and symbolic attachment objects The perception of pressure in a change of location could also be an indicator of attachment to the homelandThe sample included 815 individuals from East and West Germany and from 13 federal states Within the scope of the study a questionnaire set with 89 items has been generated including the homeland questionnaire 44 items modified attachment questionnaire BFPE Höger 31 items collectivismindividualism scale Yamaguchi 14 items and the results were investigated using several statistical methodsThe homeland is characterized by the factors experience of attachment values concept of self and attachment of location Individuals with different attachment expectation styles have different profiles of the homeland Additionally there were indications of moderate effects that attachment expectation styles are affected by cultural conditions
