Abstract

A physical model for melting is proposed that describes granular polymer melting more precisely than existing models Mathematical description of the process is developed that makes it possible to calculate physical parameters of melting numerically The main factors are revealed that affect the rate of polymer melting The results obtained permit calculation of the required screw melting zone length
