Abstract
The influence of surface friction deformation on the structure and properties of malleated ribbons from spring steels of martensitic and austenitic types is studied Xray diffraction and electron microscopic analyses are performed A “sliding preform – immobile indenter” loading scheme providing friction deformation of longlength ribbon preforms is discussed
