Abstract
Dr Belou has presented in the form of an atlas a comprehensive and detailed study of the anatomy of the organ of hearing in which every phase of its intricate anatomy has been included in anatomic preparations reproduced by illustrations The material consists of 236 looseleaf cards containing illustrations many of which are prepared to be studied with the stereoscope The volume represents a tremendous amount of work and will constitute a valuable addition to the library of those who are interested in something more than just the surgical side of otology The work does not include in any detail a study of the histology of the internal ear
