Abstract
Volume polarization holographic recording in phenanthrenequinonedoped polymethyl methacrylate PQPMMA photopolymer with linear polarized light is obtained The characteristics of the volume polarization hologram are experimentally investigated It is found that beyond the paraxial approximation the polarization states of the holographic reconstruction light are generally different from the signal light Based on vector wave theoretical analyses and material properties the special exposure condition for correctly holographic reconstruction is obtained and experimentally demonstrated
