Abstract
Pulmonary endometriosis is a gynecological disorder in which endometrial tissue grows outside of the uterine cavity Usually the ectopic implants are located in the pelvis and manifest as dysmenorrhea chronic pelvic pain or infertility Pulmonary endometriosis sometimes occurs in the pleurae and can result in catamenial pneumothorax however true pulmonary endometriosis tissue growing in the lung itself is rare We report a 22yearold patient with pulmonary endometriosis and catamenial hemoptysis Pulmonary endometriosis was proved histologically and treated successfully by wedge resection using videoassisted thoracoscopic surgery
