Abstract
We report a case of a tuberothalamic artery TTA infarction causing Horner syndrome HS but without causing the classic associated neuropsychological symptoms A classic TTA infarction is a neurological entity with neuropsychological symptoms due to the involvement of the anterior part of the thalamus and rarely associated with HS due to the involvement of the posterior part of the hypothalamusA 53yearold man was admitted to the emergency department with sudden onset of language disorders This was noted by his wife who heard her husband speaking using normal words but in a wrong context For example “this is a bicycle with social gears” On their way to the hospital an additional loss of movement control of his right arm was noted
