Abstract
Significant uncertainties in estimating airborne particulate regional heterogeneity and its subsequent interactions with earth system have recently engrossed diverse groups of researchers to undergo extensive investigations Banerjeeet al2015 The approaches were mainly towards exploring dust radiative forcing modifications in cloud microphysical properties understanding roles in mediating physical and biogeochemical exchanges ocean fertilization food security and in certain cases more specifically on initiating adverse health impacts Banerjee and Srivastava2011 Kumaret al2015a b However despite having a greater role in climate dynamics and substantial abundance in lower atmosphere there is little consensus concerning climatic importance of mineral dust as its influences are far more difficult to distinguish than that of greenhouse gases The system gest further complicated due to regional heterogeneity which creates complications in understanding the entire spectrum
