Abstract
A new method of remote nonperturbing diagnostics – laser refractography – is applied for the experimental investigation of the stable distribution of density in a liquid with salt stratification The theoretical foundations of the method along with the principles underlying the construction of a measurement system are studied Visualization is realized by means of the method and quantitative diagnostics of the distribution of the density salinity in a transition layer of a stratified liquid is realized
