NMR Study of the Exchange Kinetics of 30Crown10

Abstract

The kinetics of the complexation reactions of Ba2+ and Sr2+ in AN and 955 wt ANDMF were studied and the kinetic parameters for the decomplexation step E a ΔH ΔS and ΔG were determined in the temperature range of 17–47 °C Kinetic parameters reveal that both dissociative and biomolecular mechanisms contribute to the exchange of the 30C10 complexes Furthermore the 30C10·Ba2+ complex was synthesized and its crystal structure was determined through single crystal Xray analysis
