Abstract

Decreasing limits of CO2 emissions and increasing numbers of vehicle configurations raise the effort of optimising the fleet consumption Measures to improve fuel economy must be considered for every vehicle configuration individually In cooperation between the TU Graz and Magna Steyr a flexible efficient and meaningful simulation environment has been developed for this purpose By considering costs and interactions of the different variables the optimal cost function to reach the fleet target can be determined
