Abstract
Na3CrF6 crystals with unique morphology were prepared by a chemical precipitation method Through XRD and FESEM analysis the shape characteristics of the Na3CrF6 crystals were studied The results indicated that the terminal pH and concentration of Cr3+ and NaF encouraged the growth of spherical truncated cuboid concave cubic and cubic shape Na3CrF6 crystals Molecular simulations revealed that shape formation was due to crystal bonding energyThe financial was supported by the National Nature Science Foundation of China No 51204154 the National High Technology Research and Development Plan of China 863 plan No 2011AA060702 and the National Basic Research Program 973 Program of China No 2013CB632600
