Abstract

Reaction of Mn12CH3COO16H2O4O12·2CH3COOH·4H2O and Na9AsW9O33·195H2O in aqueous solution leads to the isolation of a new carboxy group decorated TMSP Na15MnIICOOH3AsW9O332·15H2O 1 The structure of 1 was characterized by elemental analysis thermometric analysis and single crystal Xray diffraction Crystal data for 1 Trigonal P3 a = 1288044 Å b = 1288044 Å c = 30350119 Å V = 436063 Å3 Z = 2 Structural analysis reveals that 1 represents the first example of carboxy group decorated arsenotungstate Antitumor study indicates that compound 1 possesses high antitumor activity against Hela cells In addition the magnetic properties of 1 were also investigatedThis work was supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China 21201090 Applied Basic Research Programs of Science and Technology Commission Foundation of Yunnan Province 2012FD045 Kunming university students funding innovative projects No S1109
