Abstract

A 74yearold woman with osteoporosis who had a history of Colles fracture and vitamin D insufficiency had received alendronic acid for 7 years dosage and route of administration not stated she had a maternal history of bilateral femur fracture She was referred with difficult consolidation of a diaphyseal fracture of her right femur with oblique stroke and rotational deviation duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated She underwent surgery with locked intramedullary nailing to achieve internal fixation Bone mineral density testing revealed Tscores of −34SD and −17SD of her lumbar spine and femoral
