Abstract
In this paper the moment Lyapunov exponent and stochastic stability of binary airfoil subjected to nonGaussian colored noise are investigated The noise is simplified to an Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process by applying a pathintegral approach Via the singular perturbation method the secondorder expansions of the moment Lyapunov exponent are obtained which agree with the results obtained using the Monte Carlo simulation well Finally the effects of the noise and system parameters on the stochastic stability of the binary airfoil system are discussed
