Abstract
A series of rareearth metal amides supported by a cyclohexyllinked bisβdiketiminato ligand were synthesized and their catalytic activities for hydrophosphonylation of aldehydes and ketones were developed Reaction of Me3Si2N3REµClLiTHF3 with the cyclohexyllinked bisβdiketimine H2L 1 L = CyNCMeCHCMeNAr2 Cy = cyclohexyl Ar = 2 6iPr2C6H3 gave the rareearth metal amides LRENSiMe32 RE = Nd2 Sm3 Dy4 Er5 Y6 All complexes were fully characterized by elemental spectroscopic and singlecrystal Xray analyses Investigation of the catalytic properties of the complexes reveals that these complexes exhibited a high catalytic activity towards the hydrophosphonylation of aldehydes and ketones in the presence of a very low loading of rareearth metal amides 01–1 mol at room temperature in a short time
