Addendum to ‘Pediatric radiology in the Philadelph

Abstract

Since the publication of my article regarding pediatric radiology in the Philadelphia region 1 I have received encouraging emails and phone calls from old friends and colleagues Many told me stories and recollections that I wish I could have incorporated into the manuscript Unfortunately space limitations prohibited me from including and recognizing more of the extraordinarily talented and dedicated pediatric radiologists who have practiced and taught in the Philadelphia region within the last 30 years With the recent tragic death of Dr Eleanor Smergel who worked for many years at St Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia I felt remiss that I had not mentioned her contributions within the paper If I may I would like to take this opportunity to make a brief addendum to the paper thereby including a few more individuals whose efforts and contributions deserve acknowledgment Please forgive me if because of space restraints I omit others who also deserve
