Abstract
The boundary thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz BTBA equations introduced in 1 2 to describe the cusp anomalous dimension contain imaginary chemical potentials and singular boundary fugacities which make its systematic expansion problematic We propose an alternative formulation based on real chemical potentials and additional source terms We expand our equations to double wrapping order and find complete agreement with the direct twoloop gauge theory computation of the cusp anomalous dimensionThis article is published under an open access license Please check the Copyright Information section for details of this license and what reuse is permitted If your intended use exceeds what is permitted by the license or if you are unable to locate the licence and reuse information please contact the Rights and Permissions team
