Pulmonary Artery Aneurysm in a Child Secondary to

Abstract

A 5yearold boy with main pulmonary artery aneurysm is described with two predisposing factors of patent ductus arteriosus and associated infective endarteritis Transthorasic echocardiography showed definitely a saccular aneurysm originating from the main pulmonary artery at the site of a previous vegetation Antibiotic therapy and surgical resection of the aneurysm allowed for clinical improvement
