Abstract
A retrospective study of 46 patients with congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries CCTGA and systemic atrioventricular valve SAVV regurgitation requiring valve replacement surgery The aim of the study is to assess the relationship between the preoperative systemic ventricular ejection fraction SVEF and the SAVV regurgitation and whether SAVV replacement with a SVEF ≥40 maintain a preserved SVEF in the long term The cohort was divided into 2 groups based on the preoperative SVEF ≥40 in 27 patients and 40 in 19 patients The median age was 408 ± 148 Median followup was not different in patients with a preoperative SVEF ≥40 88 years or 40 77 years The study shows that
