Abstract

The present developments of passive optical gyros using all fibre optical paths rise the question of guided modes in rotating dielectric guides In the present paper a generalrelativistic approach to internal electromagnetic experiments in a rotating frame is proposed Introduction of the 3space orthogonal to the rotating observer’s worldline is achieved by means of an orthogonal tetrad which enables us to derive SagnacMaxwell equations The socalled Sagnac effect for a light ray along a closed path is immediately obtained then the Sagnac phase is seen to be the same for an infinitely thin mode and finally for a finite guided wave when applied to the mean point of the transverse power density chart of the modeВ этой статье обсужда ется вопрос управляемых мод во вр ащающихся диэлектрических вол новодах Предлагаетс я общий релятивистский подх од к внутренним электром агнитным эксперимен там во вращающихся система х отсчета Введение трехмерног о пространства ортог онального мировой линии вращаю щегося наблюдателя обеспеч ивается с помощью орт огональной тетрады которая позв оляет нам вывести уравнени я СаньякаМаксвелла П ри этом непосредственно пол учается так называемый эффек т Саньяка для светово го луча вдоль замкнутой трае кторииGli attuali sviluppi dei giroscopi ottici passivi che usano tutti i percorsi ottici delle fibre sollevano la questione dei modi guidati nelle guide dielettriche ruotanti In questo lavoro si propone un approccio di relatività generale ad esperimenti elettromagnetici interni in un sistema ruotante L’introduzione del 3spazio ortogonale all’orizzonte dell’osservatore in rotazione è raggiunta mediante una tetrade ortogonale che ci permette di derivare le equazioni di SagnacMaxwell II cosiddetto effetto di Sagnac per un raggio luminoso lungo un cammino chiuso è ottenuto immediatamente allora la fase di Sagnac appare essere la stessa per un modo infmitamente sottile e infine per un’onda infinita guidata quando applicata al punto medio della carta della densità di potenza trasversale del modo
