Abstract
We present an addressable largefield second harmonic generation microscope by combining a 2D acoustooptical deflector with a spatial light modulator The SLM shapes an incoming modelocked nearinfrared TiSapphire laser beam into a multifocus array which can be rapidly scanned by changing the incident angle of the laser beam using a 2D acoustooptical deflector Compared to the singlebeamscan technique the multifocus array scan can increase the scanning rate and the fieldofview size with the multiregion imaging abilityThis work has been partially supported by NIH SC COBRE P20RR021949 and Career Award 1k25hl08826201 NSF MRI CBET0923311 and SC EPSCoR RII EPS0903795 through SC GEAR program The National Natural Science Foundation of China 31171372 60627003 and 61078067 Guangdong Province Science and Technology Project 2010B060300002 and Shenzhen University Application Technology Development Project 201136 BZG would also like to acknowledge support from the grant established by the State Key Laboratory of Precision Measuring Technology and Instruments Tianjin University
