Abstract

A 191 μmpumped injectionseeded 2118 nm Qswitched HoYAlO3 laser was demonstrated in this paper Singlefrequency and nearly transformlimited operation of Qswitched HoYAlO3 laser was achieved by injectionseeded The singlefrequency Qswitched HoYAlO3 laser output energy of 8 mJ at 100 Hz with a pulse width of 151 ns was obtained The halfwidth of pulse spectrum measured by a heterodyne technique was 37 MHz
