Abstract
The title ternary complex has been prepared and its structure determined using Xray crystallography The complex crystallizes in triclinic space group P1 with a = 67455 b = 105515 c = 114145 Å α = 957705 β = 913965 γ = 925185° V = 8071 Å3 and Z = 2 The structural data are consistent with the presence of Jahn–Teller distortion in the overall hexacoordinate octahedral geometry of the molecule The crystal packing is through an extensive hydrogen bonding and ring–ring π–π interactions resulting in a supramolecular frameworkThe authors thank the Chairman Chemistry Department Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh India for necessary facilities and UGC New Delhi for financial support in the form of JRF Ref no F1743/2008 SAII Mr Kamlesh Thapliyal IIT Kanpur is gratefully acknowledged for recording the Xray data
