Abstract

The iodinecatalyzed reaction of 2aminobenzamide and 2oxopentanedioic acid in ionic liquids is described in this paper It gave 15dioxo1233a45hexahydropyrrolo12aquinazoline3acarboxylic acid derivatives in high yields One of their structures was confirmed by Xray diffraction analysisWe are grateful to the National Natural Science foundation of China 20802061 a project funded by the Priority Academic Program Development of Jiangsu Higher Education Institutions QingLan Project 10QLD008 and College Industrialization Project JHB201231 of Jiangsu Province for the financial support
