Abstract

TiO2/CdS heterojunctions with enhanced visible light activity were synthesized by a onepot hydrothermal method Structural investigation by Xray diffraction scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy indicated that TiO2/CdS nanojunctions with a diameter of 43 nm were uniformly prepared The results showed that the photocatalytic activity of TiO2/CdS heterojunctions under solar light was better than that of TiO2 nanoparticles
