Abstract
Different surface modification methods to improve the dispersity of nanosilica in organic solvents by γmethacryloxypropyltrimethoxy silane MOPTMS anhydrous alcohol solution were investigated The possible principles of these methods improving the dispersity of nanosilica in organic solvents were proposed The optimum modification method was that nanosilica powders were chemically modified by γmethacryloxypropyltrimethoxy silane anhydrous alcohol solution and γmethacryloxypropyltrimethoxy silane anhydrous alcohol solution was dropwise added at 3 mL/min The transparency of the optimum modified nanosilica powder anhydrous alcohol solution 01 wt was 859 The 29Si cross polarization and magicangle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance spectra suggested that nanosilica was chemically modified by γmethacryloxypropyltrimethoxy silane anhydrous alcohol solution The transmission electron microscopy images suggested that the optimum modified nanosilica was well dispersed The dispersity of nanosilica in anhydrous alcohol CH2Cl2 CCl4 cyclohexane and liquid paraffin increased from 0 0 0 0 and 01 to 94 96 98 98 and 100 g/100 mL after surface modification
