Abstract
Granulocyte colonystimulating factor GCSF is commonly administered to mobilize peripheral blood stem cell PBSC for allogeneic or autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation HSCT Limited data are available describing pulmonary complications associated with GCSFmobilized PBSC for autologous HSCT The present report describes the occurrence of hemoptysis and radiological pulmonary infiltrates in an acute promyelocytic leukemia patient for autologous HSCT after 4 days of GCSF administrationA 26yearold woman was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia in September 1999 After the induction therapy with alltrans retinoic acid and daunorubicin bone marrow aspiration showed hematological complete remission CR She received irregular consolidation therapy afterwards and the disease relapsed twice respectively in July 2004 and in April 2006 After reinduction therapy with arsenic trioxide ATO each time she achieved hematological CR RTPCR
