Abstract

Two new oligomeric proanthocyanidin glycosides were isolated from trunk bark of Platanus orientalis Their structures and relative configurations were found to be 7OβDGlcp–epicatechin4β8–epicatechin4β8–epicatechin3Ogallate platanosideA and 7OβDGlc textpxrightarrow6 galloyl+catechin3Ogallate4α8–epicatechin3Ogallate4β8–epicatechin3Ogallate4β85OβDGlcp–epicatechin3Ogallate platanosideB
