Abstract

Guavadial a new meroterpenoid isomer of sesquiterpenoiddiphenylmethane along with two knownmeroterpenoids guajadial and psidial A was isolated from the leaves of Psidium guajava guava Its structure with absolute configuraton was elucidated by spectroscopic data CD experimentation and singlecrystal Xray diffractionThis work was supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China No 81001620 the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities SCUT2009 ZM0109 and 2012ZZ0046 and the research fund of The Guangdong Provincial Laboratory of Green Chemical Technology
