Abstract

In order to promote comprehensive utilization of Desmodium styracifolium resources bioassayguided fractionation and a chemical investigation of D styracifolium seeds were conducted which resulted in the isolation of a new flavonol acylglycoside 1 together with eight known compounds 2–9 Their structures were identified by spectroscopic techniques 1D/2D NMR and MS All the compounds were isolated for the first time from the genus Desmodium except for 3 and 8
