Abstract

Ongoing pregnancy rates were 364  in the OCP + GnRH agonist group and 359  in the OCP + GnRH antagonist group p  005 Progesterone levels on the day of hCG 076 ± 071 vs 058 ± 050 endometrial thickness on the day of hCG 1157 ± 250 vs 1050 ± 201 total gonadotropin used 138871 ± 48239 vs 125325 ± 41581 and duration of COH 907 ± 196 vs 839 ± 175 were significantly lower in the OCP + GnRH antagonist groupThe OCP + long GnRH agonist and the OCP + fixed GnRH antagonist protocols yield similar ongoing pregnancy rates in women with PCOS Although this study consisting three hundred patients seems to be large enough in a single center we were not able to reach to the actual size of power analysis which was approximately 3000
