Abstract

We investigate the mass spectrum and various other properties of the heavier naked beauty bbar c and open top tbar c and tbar b bound states in the light of recently observed first signals of the top quark in the mass range 30 GeV≤mt≤50 GeV by the UAl group at CERN in a static flavourindependent nonrelativistic quarkantiquark qbar q twostep potential model previously employed to study the heavy quarkonia
