Deformation and interaction energies in statistica

Abstract

We study the effect of fragment shape deformations and nuclear interactions on the method of statistical nuclear multifragmentation We find that the energies associated with deformations and interactions nearly cancel each other and their overall effect on the fragment multiplicity and system temperature is minimum
