The pion decay constant as a scale for hadron dyna

Abstract

We speculate on the implications of the groundstate meson decay constantfπ≅93 MeV setting the scale for hadron dynamics On this basis we conjecture that the asymptotic crosssections obey σπN/σ K N =f K /fπ in agreement with experiment We also find σππ=π/12f π 2 ≃14 so that the pion decay constant scales the asymptotic crosssectionМы обсуждаем значимость постоянной распада мезона в основном состоянииfπ≅93 МэВ для установления масштаба для динамики адронов На основе этого мы предполагаем что асимптотические поперечные сечения удовлетворяют соотношению σπN/σ K N =f K /fπ в согласии с экспериментом Мы также находим σππ=π/12f π 2 ≃14 μд так что постоянная пионного распада определяет масштаб асимптотического поперечного сеченияSi specula sulle implicazioni della costante di decadimento del mesone dello stato fondamentalefπ≅93 MeV che stabilisce la scala per la dinamica degli adroni Su questa base si congettura che le sezioni d’urto asintotiche obbediscano a σπN/σ K N =f K /fπ in accordo con gli esperimenti Si trova anche σππ=π/12f π 2 ≃14 cosicché le costante di decadimento del pione riduce di scala la sezione d’urto asintotica
