Abstract

J H Walters N A F Young Microdrepanocytic disease associated with megaloblastic anaemia of pregnancy Transactions of The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Volume 48 Issue 3 May 1954 Pages 253–260 https//doiorg/101016/0035920354900735The condition was complicated by megaloblastic anaemia of pregnancy and by the development of an antibody following transfusion 3 The characteristic features were originally masked by secondary hypersplenism and great symptomatic improvement followed splenectomy
