PM Osterrieth Paula DeleplanqueLiégeois R Renoirte Arthropodborne viruses in the NorthEastern part of the Congo Transactions of The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Volume 55 Issue 3 May 1961 Pages 246–257 https//doiorg/101016/003592036190061XA serological survey of arthropodborne viruses in the northeastern part of the Congo performed in 1959 shows that many viruses are active in that country Associations between positivity to different viruses are studied Many of the viruses studied are endemic This endemicity could be the result at least partly of crossimmunity and variation in individual exposure to infection
