Abstract
Mixed ligand factricarbonyl complex of 99mTcCO3DMSAMIBI has been prepared starting from the precursor 99mTcOH23CO3+ The complex can be obtained in good yield and purity in a twostep procedure by first attaching meso23dimercaptosuccinic acid DMSA HOOCCHSHCHSHCOOH with 99mTcOH23CO3+ followed by addition of MIBI tetrakis2methoxyisobutylisonitrile CH3OCCH32CH2N≡C copperI tetrafluoroborate solution The complex was characterized by TLC and HPLC and was studied by means of octanolwater partition coefficient electrophoresis stability in vitro and normal mice experiment Biodistribution in mice demonstrated that the complex showed higher myocardial uptake after 05hour pi The ratios of heart/liver ID/g in the case of 99mTcCO3DMSAMIBI was higher 188 than that observed in case of 99mTcMIBI1 093 after 05hour pi P005 Results showed that the complex may be developed to a novel myocardial perfusionimaging agent
