Abstract
The surfaceinitiated atom transfer radical polymerization ATRP was used to prepare polydivinylbenzeneDVB–vinylbenzylchlorideVBCgraft–amidoxime AO PDVA for the efficient removal of uranylVI from aqueous solution with microconcentration mass fraction ranging from 001 to 1 and traceconcentration mass fraction less than 001 By varying the ratio of DVB and VBC in ATRP process it was to adjust the microstructure The adsorption properties of adsorbents with micropore mesopore and nanopore were studied and the maximum adsorption capacities of uranylVI on the PDVA was 8980 11540 and 8430 mg/g in microconcentration 161 190 and 152 mg/g in traceconcentration respectivelyWe gratefully acknowledge financial support by the National Natural Science Foundation of China Grant No 21401152 the Doctoral Research Fund of Southwest University of Science and Technology Grant No 13zx7131 and Preresearch Foundation of Fundamental Science on Nuclear Wastes and Environmental Safety Laboratory Grant No 15yyhk08 and Scientific Research Innovation Team Construction funds of Key Research Platform of Southwest University of Science and Technology Grant No 14tdhk01
