Abstract

Eleven polymorphic microsatellite markers were developed to delineate population structure of Ammodytes personatus These markers had between 8 and 27 alleles Expected heterozygosity ranged from 0818 to 0965 whereas the observed heterozygosity ranged from 0441 to 0886 Five of the eleven markers conformed to Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium We believe the markers will be useful for genetic diversity study of A personatus
