Abstract
A new sensitizer Ru22′bipyridine44′dicarboxylic acid44′bis24NN′diphenylaminophenylethenyl22′bipyridine NCS2 denoted K777 was synthesized The UV–vis spectrum of K777 was characterized Dye sensitized solar cells DSSC based on K777 were fabricated and devices J/V curves were measured The effects of coadsorbent chenodeoxycholic acid solvent in electrolyte TiO2 light scattering layer and treatment of TiCl4 aqueous solution on device efficiency were discussed Under solar illumination of 100 mW cm−2 AM 15 the optimized DSSC device efficiency of 101 was obtained
