Abstract
During high energy ball milling of graphite powder carbon microspheres were produced from necklacelike carbon structures that were gradually peeled off and finally fractured into particles The current formation process of carbon microspheres is completely different to those reported previously in which carbon microspheres were fabricated by assembling individual carbon atoms into spheres
